Max Frenkel’s research interests are development of cutting-edge genomic technologies to enable large-scale variant effect determination of disease-relevant proteins. Max will combine novel barcoding strategies with deep sequencing to systematically characterize variants in nuclear receptors, and use advanced computational tools to learn underlying patterns from these large datasets
